Integration

ORion-PI® seamlessly integrates into existing IT environments using the given data sources to find the optimal solution.

Integration with ERP Systems and WMS Software
ORion-PI® works with every ERP or WMS Software. For the calculation of optimal business processes ORion-PI® draws on data relevant to the plan-ning process such as e.g. current stocks or customer orders. The generated planning data are transferred back into the ERP/Warehouse Management System which then puts the production into execution.

Integration with SAP® Software
Depending on the project requirement the integration with ERP Software can be realized in different ways: 

  • via IDOC-Interface
  • via the certified interface ORion-PI® Direct Link to SAP® Software
  • via ORion-PI® Direct Link to Excel.


Integration with Excel
ORion-PI® Direct Link to Excel (ODL) enables the user to directly access MS Excel and use it as data source. As separate menu item ODL Excel quickly connects to ORion-PI® in order to add, modify or delete data. A time-consuming editing via templates or SQL is no longer necessary. Besides, the user can export data from ORion-PI® to MS Excel as well. These data then can be edited and re-imported into ORion-PI®.
