1. First the solution identifies the required working hours in detail based on incoming orders, forecasts and budget planning. With the order quantity and resulting process times required personnel demands are calculated with the help of MTM time components, bills of material and work schedules. Or as an alternative for long term views more roughly on the basis of statistic forecast methods, seasonal patterns and their evaluation by means of averaged productivities.
2. ORion-PI^® determines at the same time available personnel per time unit and working area resulting from planned operating times, shift schedules and entered absences.
3. In a third step required staff hours are compared with the actual personnel availability revealing overheads and bottlenecks.
4. Based on this comparison ORion-PI^® identifies capacity overheads or bottlenecks and determines reliable and efficient deployment schedules. Different scenarios can be derived and compared.
