Basic idea of ORion-PI® Workforce@Logistics is to compare the required personnel demand with the actual available manpower. The calculation of the optimal staff assignment is done in four steps:
- ORion-PI® first identifies the available personnel per time unit and working area.
- The software then identifies the required working hours with the help of individual forms, time series, MTM-time components, statistic forecast procedures or on the base of seasonal patterns.
- Required staff hours are compared with the actual personnel availability.
- Based on this comparison ORion-PI® identifies capacity overhead or bottlenecks and determines reliable and efficient deployment plans. Different scenarios can be derived and compared.
