Replenishment Optimization

ORion-PI® Replenishment Optimization is the perfect solution for all tasks regarding the supply of the picking zone. The module allows:

ORion-PI® Replenishment Optimization considers the actual assignment of storage locations and minimizes costs for picking, stock transfer and transportation with respect to all distances between high rack warehouse and picking zone. ORion-PI® generates the optimal assignment of articles to storage locations assuring shortest replenishment routes and a minimum of stock transfers.

Moreover, ORion-PI® Replenishment Optimization considers the size of storage locations and the coverage of single articles.

ORion-PI® calculates replenishment quantities on the base of sales forecasts and guarantees the permanent availability of fast-moving items. Reciprocally, the storage of slow-moving articles can be excluded from the reserve zone. Where necessary, order sequences for transports regulating the replenishment can be optimized in order to straighten out bottlenecks that might occur in the assignment of orders to picking areas
