24.01.07 - Distinct growth in 2006Axxom convinced of continuing economic upswingMunich, 24th January 2007 - German Axxom Software benefited from last year's positive market development posting an above-average growth rate. The technology company increased its overall turnover with more than 30 percent. Looking at a growth rate of more than 30 percent in 2006 Axxom Software is more than content with the preceding business year. CEO, Dr. Christoph Plapp, explains: "The upswing was most noticeable in the fields of the design and the optimization of production and logistics networks. Nevertheless, we could feel an upward trend in intralogistics as well. In this area Axxom could almost double the revenue of the preceding year." Avon Cosmetics, for example, today has implemented ORion in 18 distribution centres worldwide. While services sales receded a bit over the year, the high-margin license sales increased with about 50%. In view of 2007 Axxom sees a continuing trend: "the rationalization potential in the field of supply chain optimization and intralogistics is enormous and we are convinced that this is only the beginning of a far-reaching market development", stresses Plapp. Profile Axxom Software AG: Axxom Software AG is an international provider of software solutions developed for the comprehensive optimization of value-add processes.
