In order to be able to confront the challenge of increasing logistics costs and the resulting rapid adjustment of logistical networks, Axxom hosted for its clients and for interested persons an Interactive Workshop "Strategic Optimization of Production, Logistics and Distribution Networks" on the 20th of November 2008 in Munich. Here, our experienced consultants analyzed together with the participants the impacts of increasing costs for logistics and presented short- as well as mid-term measures for cost reductions. Moreover, strategies were developed in two parallel sequences, of how the own logistics networks can be optimized and adjusted to the modified conditions and how potentials can be identified and implemented. |
