Axxom at the 25th German Logistics Congress – Energy for your Supply ChainWith the theme "Creating Value – Connecting Cultures", the German Logistics Association (BVL) hosted the 25th anniversary congress in Berlin from the 22nd to the 24th of October 2008. This year, Axxom once again presented its consulting services and solutions at the trade exhibition. Under the slogan "Energy for your Supply Chain", three highlights were presented in addition to the well proven Axxom portfolio for logistics and supply chain optimization. Those include the expert system ORion-PI® Consultant for network optimization, MTM-time-based workforce management and the internet exchange platform for transportation costs. Attendees were also able to gain more information about up-to-date topics such as short-term profound measures for the logistics in times of the global financial crisis.On the basis of demo models, different solutions were presented to interested congress visitors. Potentials, benefits and user friendliness of the Software ORion-PI® were explained and individual questions answered. In summary, we look back on a successful congress appearance, which will certainly frame an inherent part in our next year’s calendar of events. Read more here. |
